Birthe Christiansen, daughter of founder Nic. Christiansen, acquires the ownership as well in Nic. Christiansen Holding A/S as in Nic. Christiansen Invest A/S
Birthe Christiansen has bought and acquired her sister Karin Christiansen’s shareholding in Nic. Christiansen Holding A/S and in Nic. Christiansen Invest A/S.
After the acquisition of the shares of Karin Christiansen, Birthe Christiansen so today owns the family companies.
Karin Christiansen has wanted completely to withdraw from the two companies and, therefore, has found it most proper to liquidate her economic involvement in the family business.
The father of the sisters, 89-year-old Nic. Christiansen, started 40 years ago as importer of BMW and by adding a variety of legendary car makes he made the basis to the two extensive companies today.
Nic. Christiansen Holding A/S mainly comprises Hyundai Bil Import A/S, British Car Import A/S (Land Rover), Lada Danmark A/S, Unic Parts A/S, Terminalen A/S and our PDI Centre Vamdrup Klargøringscentral A/S.
Nic. Christiansen Invest A/S is an investment and property company, which has the hotel chain Comwell as the largest investment with a decisive share of ownership.
The change in the ownership structure does in no way influence the running in the two groups.
The board of directors of Nic. Christiansen Holding A/S is after the resignation of Karin Christiansen: Erik Christensen (chairman), Birthe Christiansen, Villy Rasmussen and John Iversen. Anders Hansen still is the CEO of the company.
The board of directors in Nic. Christiansen Invest is unchanged and consists of Nic. Christiansen (chairman), Birthe Christiansen and Jørn Elkjær-Holm. Knud Beer still is the CEO of the company.
