New CEO for Jaguar and Land Rover in Scandinavia

On 1 April 2017, Henrik Bang (49) will take over the helm at British Car Import A/S, which handles imports of Jaguar and Land Rover in Scandinavia. British Car Import is a subsidiary of the Nic. Christiansen Group.

Henrik Bang holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from Aalborg University, and has been employed in the automotive industry since 2001. Previously he has been sales and marketing director at Fiat Auto Denmark, and comes directly from a position at Renault Denmark, where, as managing director, he has headed up an impressive growth in sales volume in Denmark from 3,600 cars in 2009 to 19,800 cars last year.

“It has been crucial for us to find a front figure for British Car Import who is totally familiar with the success criteria for an automotive import company and someone who has what it takes to ensure the future growth of Jaguar and Land Rover in Scandinavia. Henrik is undoubtedly the right profile for the job, and will bring a wealth of new ideas, energy and experience to British Car Import. We are very pleased to be welcoming him to the group,”  says Niels Vrist Bertelsen, CEO at the Nic. Christiansen Group.

In close cooperation with the sales managers in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, Henrik Bang will focus on realising the ambitious sales targets for both Jaguar and Land Rover which have been set for the coming years. In addition, there is a strategic focus on optimising internal processes as well as the digitalisation of new business areas.
