Hyundai Bil Import A/S

The Hyundai Motor Company was established in 1967, and was introduced to the Danish market in 1992. Hyundai is a brand, which has grown significantly on the Danes in recent years. A development which is closely linked to the brand's ambitions to be a leaser in quality, innovation and sustainability. Among other things, Hyundai is behind the hydrogen-borne Hyundai ix35, which in 2013 was the world's first series-produced fuel cell car. In 2016 Hyundai launched yet another sustainable Hyundai vehicle . the elegant Hyundai IONIQ, which offers drivers 3 options for environmentally conscious engine technology.

Hyundai means "modern and forward-looking" and the company has been manufacturing cars that match this vision since it was established. The company's aim was to manufacture cars of the highest quality with attractive designs and a wealth of equipment – at an attractive price. Hyundai has achieved this and its cars are sold in over 193 countries around the world.

Hyundai i10
Hyundai introduced to the Danes

Hyundai was introduced to the Danish market in 1992 when the Nic. Christiansen Group became the official import agency. Things developed rapidly from there and the Korean car brand has gone from being viewed with a degree of scepticism by the Danes to being the 10th most sold passenger car brand in Denmark (2015). A good deal of explanation for the brand's popularity is that when it comes to choosing cars, Danes prioritise handling, design, safety and length of warranty. Today, more than 100.000 Danes own a Hyundai.

Hyundai receives a number of design awards

Hyundai is receiving great international recognition for its innovative design. Both Hyundai i10, i20 and, most recently, the new SUV, Hyundai Tucson has received a wealth of design awards. For more than 60 years, iF Design Award has been a symbol of design of the finest quality. The award is given by iF International Forum Design and recognizes excellent design in different disciplines and categories. The jury gave the award to Hyundai Tucson after going through an extensive process that involved almost 5.000 submissions from 53 countries.

As if that was not enough, Hyundai i20 has been one of the most award-winnong cars in Europe in 2015. It has received two prestigious design awards: IF Aeard and Red Dot Design Award. It is the best buy in its class according to Auto BILD, the renowned German magazine. And then European drivers has awarded it the "Golden Steering Wheel" as car of the year 2015 in the mini car segment.

Hyundai – all the way

There are those who believe that it is best to streamline things; that is all about subtracting to come up with something better. At Hyundai, we believe it is all about adding more. So that is what we do. This means that you will always get a little bit more than expected when choosing Hyundai – a little more room, a little more equipment, a little more quality, a little more service, a little more consideration, a little more warranty. We believe, briefly put, in the value of going all the way: kilometer after kilometer, day after day, year after year.

A unique warranty

Hyundai offers a Five Year Care package on all new models. This consists of a five year unlimited mileage warranty and five years roadside assistance programme in all of Denmark.

Currently, there are over 60 Hyundai dealers in Denmark, which has been a major factor in its success in Denmark.
