NCG Import Baltics

NCG Import Baltics was founded in 2017. The company take over the import of cars, motorcycles and Power Products in the Baltic States. 

The Nic. Christiansen Group entered into an agreement with Honda Motor Europe, to take over responsibility for the import of cars, motorcycles and Power Products in the Baltic States and the import of cars in Finland on 31 March 2017.

The Nic. Christiansen Group was responsible for the import of cars in Denmark for the Japanese car manufacturer in the period 1971 - 2001. The new agreement resumes the long-term collaboration between the Nic. Christiansen Group and Honda Motor Europe, with the shared ambition of creating the best framework for the Honda brand in the Baltic States and in Finland. 

On 31 March 2017, the Nic. Christiansen Group took over two well-functioning sales organisations, in Tallinn in Estonia and in Helsinki in Finland, respectively. The Nic. Christiansen Group will be responsible for sales of Honda’s popular car models in Finland and their associated spare parts distribution and service. In the Baltic States, the Nic. Christiansen Group will be responsible for sales of Honda’s car models and their associated spare parts distribution, and will also be responsible for sales, service and spare parts distribution of motorcycles, scooters and Power Products.

Honda had an average market share for the passenger cars segment of around 3,5 % in the Baltic States and in Finland, and has a large operating fleet of cars. The average market share for motorcycles is 5,6 % in the Baltic States.
With this new agreement, Nic. Christiansen Group becomes a leading Nordic automotive import business with operations in all countries and motorcycle and power product businesses in the Baltic countries.

The history of the Nic. Christiansen Group began in 1967, with the import of BMW. The company's primary activities today are the import of Hyundai, Honda, SsangYong, Land Rover and Jaguar, owning three car trading chains, Terminalen, Bayern AutoGroup and British MotorGroup as well as leasing and financing company NCG Finans.

The Nic. Christiansen Group has operations in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and the Baltic States and employs approx. 620 employees.
